Job summary

Maximus, a U.S.-based company, is seeking a Specialist - Training for a fully remote role. You will design and deliver new-hire training for a contact center supporting FEHB/PSHB programs, using adult-learning methods and immersive simulations.

You’ll collaborate with SMEs, assess learner needs, and create certifications while coaching dispersed learners and maintaining compliance with PII/PHI handling requirements. This contract-backed, remote position requires U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience required.
• Experience delivering new-hire training in a contact center or customer service environment.
• Experience supporting rapid training development and delivery for new programs.
• Experience facilitating systems, processes, policies, and customer service training.
• Experience developing simulations, scenarios, assessments, and knowledge checks.
• Experience coaching learners and supporting remediation or skill development.
• Familiarity with LMS and eLearning tools such as Articulate Rise 360 or Storyline.
• Experience delivering training to remote or geographically dispersed learners.
• Ability to pass a federal background check and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop training curriculum and materials using adult learning techniques.
• Develop training scenarios and update environment data resources to mirror production tools.
• Collaborate with partners and SMEs to perform needs analysis and design deliverables.
• Develop assessment tools to measure learner requirements and competencies.
• Teach instructional programs and organize materials for presentation.
• Create assessments to measure curriculum effectiveness and learner performance.
• Review and modify curriculums; propose policy and procedure changes.
• Maintain training resources and ensure alignment with operational excellence.
• Adhere to safety standards and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Contribute to organizational projects and communicate on complex issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
