Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Supervisor, Training and Development to join our team in Des Moines, IA. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of supervisory experience and a solid understanding of adult learning principles to develop and deliver training programs across departments.

You will collaborate with operations and quality teams, facilitate training, and assess program effectiveness while ensuring regulatory compliance and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
• Experience coaching and developing employees.
• Ability to partner across teams to support business and learning objectives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, develop and facilitate training manuals, learning modules, and course materials for new and existing employees.
• Ensure resources have documentation and are effectively utilized (RxVector, Lighthouse, NaviClaim, Compass, phone tech, etc.).
• Periodically report quality metrics and monitor trainee progress for up to one year after training.
• Assist in mentoring and peer-to-peer quality reviews and audits.
• Deliver training using varied instructional techniques.
• Evaluate trainees and knowledge retention; update training materials accordingly.
• Manage training paperwork and verification of completion.
• Travel to other Lumicera/Navitus locations as needed; support multiple locations.
• Ensure training programs meet accreditation and regulatory requirements.
