Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a Supervisor, Training and Development to join our team. The ideal candidate brings 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and the ability to coach and develop employees.

The role creates, administers, and delivers training programs, assesses needs, and enhances training across departments to ensure high performance. Some travel between Lumicera/Navitus locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on training, course development, delivery, and evaluation of training effectiveness.
• Experience applying adult learning principles to workplace training.
• Ability to assess training needs and measure impact across departments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, develop and deliver training manuals, modules, and materials for staff.
• Maintain documentation and ensure resources are used effectively by employees.
• Report quality metrics and trainee progress for up to a year after training.
• Establish mentoring and peer-to-peer quality reviews and audits.
• Deliver training to staff using varied instructional techniques.
• Evaluate knowledge retention and update the program based on feedback.
