Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Docketing Analyst for a fully remote temporary assignment supporting a U.S.-based law firm. The role focuses on maintaining complex trademark docket portfolios, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring accurate docketing of domestic and international matters.

The candidate will review correspondence from USPTO and foreign sources, uphold docket records, and lead docket audits. Proficiency with PATTSY, iManage, and MS Office is highly valued.

Competenze

• 5+ years of progressive Intellectual Property docketing experience focused on trademarks.
• Trademark experience is required.
• Strong experience with domestic and foreign trademark matters and TTAB proceedings.
• In-depth knowledge of U.S. and international trademark docketing requirements and deadlines.
• Strong experience with docketing software; PATTSY experience is highly relevant to the responsibilities of this role.
• Excellent proofreading, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Review, process, and distribute correspondence from the USPTO, foreign government agencies, and foreign associates in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain assigned trademark docket portfolios and ensure daily docket clearance and accurate filing logs.
• Monitor and maintain domestic and international trademark deadlines and electronic docket calendars.
• Ensure accurate and complete docketing of documents and deadlines received from the USPTO and other domestic and international sources.
• Maintain accurate docket records and prepare reports as required.
• Save client and legal documents in PATTSY and upload documents and images to the appropriate matter records.
• Maintain electronic files through the firm's IP management system and iManage integration.
• Process abandoned and inactive matters in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to complex docketing questions from attorneys and staff.
• Lead docket audits, including bibliographic, PTO formality, and U.S. pair inconsistency audits.
• Assist with mass bibliographic data updates, matter intakes, and other docketing projects.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and clients while maintaining confidentiality.
