Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Director to lead the total rewards strategy across the organization. Remote role with occasional on-site visits, reporting to the VP of Human Resources, guiding the team, and aligning pay, benefits, and wellness with strategic objectives.

The roleCollaborates with executives to design competitive programs, manage budgets, vendor relations, and market surveys, ensuring pay practices meet FMV standards and business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field.
• 10 years professional Human Resources experience in total rewards, including compensation and/or benefits.
• 2 years designing programming/benefits or leading organizational wellness.
• Five years leadership experience in compensation and benefits or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Leads total rewards strategy and team to support organizational priorities and employee experience.
• Directs development and implementation of total rewards practices across various roles and unions.
• Guides compensation and benefits portfolio including employee wellness.
• Partners with executive leadership to plan and evaluate strategies, goals, and budgets.
• Oversees compensation program design, vendor relationships, and market surveys.
• Advises leaders on annual and ongoing compensation processes and pay practices.
