Job summary

Old Republic Title is seeking a Title Examiner to support real estate transactions across Florida. This remote (Florida residents only) position is full-time, with Monday–Friday schedules.

You will review title records, analyze chains of title, and prepare title products for the closing process, working to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. Preferred candidates have at least two years of title industry experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of title industry experience.
• Experience examining title records, ownership histories, and chains of title.
• Knowledge of title insurance practices and title examination principles.
• Knowledge of legal descriptions, real property records, and real estate documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review title records, analyze chains of title, and prepare accurate title products.
• Verify property, ownership, and tax information for completeness and accuracy.
• Review legal descriptions, maps, plats, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and issue preliminary title reports.
• Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to support customer service.
• Maintain accuracy and production standards while meeting deadlines.
