Old Republic Title is seeking an experienced Title Examiner to review title records, analyze ownership histories, and prepare accurate title products for real estate closings across Florida. You will verify ownership, chains of title, and tax information, while ensuring compliance with title insurance practices and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of title industry experience.
- Experience examining title records and chains of title.
- Strong understanding of title insurance practices and title examination principles.
- Knowledge of real property records and real estate documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Review title records and interpret chains of title.
- Identify title issues, restrictions, liens and encumbrances.
- Verify property ownership and tax information for accuracy.
- Review legal descriptions and supporting documents.
- Prepare and issue preliminary title reports.
- Ensure accurate reflection of information in title products.
- Collaborate with team and stakeholders to support customer service.
