Job summary

Old Republic Title – Eastern Title Division seeks an experienced Title Examiner to review title records, analyze chains of title, and prepare high-quality title products for Florida real estate transactions. This remote role is open to Florida residents, with Monday–Friday scheduling and full-time employment.

You will verify property and ownership data, identify title issues, and generate preliminary title reports while collaborating with a team of experienced title professionals to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of title industry experience.
• Experience examining title records, ownership histories, and chains of title.
• Strong understanding of title insurance practices and title examination principles.
• Knowledge of legal descriptions, real property records, and real estate documentation.
• Ability to analyze and interpret title information accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review title records and analyze chains of title.
• Examine ownership histories and identify title issues, liens, encumbrances, and other matters.
• Verify property, ownership, and tax information for accuracy.
• Review legal descriptions, maps, plats, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and issue preliminary title reports.
• Confirm appropriate title search parameters and starter bases.
• Ensure information is accurately reflected in title products.
• Support title search operations and workflow as needed.
• Maintain accuracy and production standards while meeting deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to support customer service.
