Job summary

Old Republic Title is seeking an experienced Title Examiner to support real estate transactions in Florida. The role is remote for Florida residents, full-time, Monday–Friday, with responsibilities spanning title record review, ownership histories and chains of title analysis to ensure accurate title products for closings.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in title, strong knowledge of title insurance practices, and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in the title industry or equivalent experience.
• Ability to review title records, ownership histories and chains of title with accuracy.
• Strong understanding of title insurance practices and examination principles.
• familiarity with real property records and legal descriptions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review title records and analyze chains of title to support real estate closings.
• Identify title issues, liens, encumbrances and other factors affecting title.
• Verify property, ownership and tax information for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and issue preliminary title reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality customer service and timely production.
