Job summary

Patterson Companies, Inc. is hiring a Support Specialist - Tier I. You will respond to customer calls, provide technical support for software, services, and devices, and document interactions in CRM. The role emphasizes positive customer engagement and adherence to company policies.

The position is full-time and remote for residents of ID, IL, MN, MI, KS, KY, SD, UT & WI, with training 8AM-5PM CT and core hours 10AM-7PM CT. Starting pay is $17/hr plus benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1 year customer service experience
• 1 year experience with CRM/POS or similar software with basic troubleshooting
• 2 years experience with Microsoft Windows OS and Office apps (Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound and outbound calls providing technical support and workflow guidance for software, services, peripherals, and equipment.
• Utilize resources to perform the job at high proficiency.
• Meet or exceed department performance metrics.
• Document inquiries, steps taken, and resolution status in CRM.
• Escalate issues per proper channels and follow procedures.
