LCS Financial Services Corporation seeks an experienced Collections Specialist to work remotely from a home office. You will manage inbound/outbound calls, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance with debt collection laws while maintaining professional customer interactions across a nationwide team.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in third-party collections, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a flexible, performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of third-party debt collection experience.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and telephone etiquette.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
• Professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of applicable debt collection laws and regulations.
• Must reside and work in an LCS-approved state.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound collection calls to negotiate resolutions on delinquent accounts.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlement agreements based on borrowers' financial circumstances.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools and investigative techniques to locate borrowers and assets.
• Manage assigned account portfolios and prioritize collection activities to maximize recovery opportunities.
• Work toward individual and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation.
• Deliver professional, respectful customer interactions while navigating difficult conversations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable collection laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain consistent communication with management and team members while working remotely.
