Novolex in Michigan is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive sales through distributors and direct accounts. This remote role focuses on building and maintaining distributor relationships, executing regional programs, and delivering growth in the Michigan market.

You will manage broker groups, monitor market trends, and help forecast demand while traveling to engage with customers, trade shows, and strategic accounts. Strong communication and self-management are essential.

Qualifications

• General understanding of foodservice distribution and disposables markets.
• Ability to build strong relationships with distributors and close sales.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales and profit plan for assigned region to achieve company growth and profit objectives.
• Participates in trade shows to introduce products and expand penetration of current products.
• Seeks new distributor relationships to sell product in targeted locations.
• Maintain and improve distributor relationships to increase sales activity.
• Tracks pipeline of opportunities and reports weekly.
• Spends 50% in-market developing relationships with prospects and partners.
• Oversee all aspects of account management including order fulfillment and credit status.
• Travel on weekends as needed.
