Job summary

Reid Supply is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the East Michigan territory. The ideal location is the Lansing, MI area, with remote work in Eastern Michigan and occasional visits to Norton Shores, MI.

You will travel within the territory to meet customers and pursue new business opportunities. Responsibilities include managing a defined sales area, presenting proposals, and negotiating revenue wins while maintaining CRM records and providing regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience is required.
• Outside sales experience of at least 3 years, preferably with industrial products.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and CRM experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined sales territory and predefined customer list.
• Present proposals, solutions, samples, and quotes; turn complaints into opportunities.
• Meet sales and margin targets; maximize profitability at account level.
• Provide regular communication to the Director of Sales and senior managers via reports and updates.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline; conduct ongoing territory analysis and strategy.
• Coordinate projects, participate in meetings, and manage CRM records for opportunities and visits.
