Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years sales or relevant insurance experience.
• Prior experience driving sales results.
• Experience with different lines of insurance a plus (P&C, Commercial, Life/Health).
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prospects, interviews, and approval of new appointments to expand GEICO’s agency distribution.
• Manage agents within a designated area using in-person visits, virtual meetings, phone calls, and email.
• Translate national initiatives into local goals and hold agents accountable for execution.
• Monitor agents’ performance and coach, including disciplinary actions when needed.
• Deliver communications and help agencies develop local marketing plans to meet growth goals.
• Act as subject matter expert on GEICO products and tools.
• Evaluate agency performance and ensure action plans are followed.
• Conduct training of agency staff on GEICO products and value proposition.
• Collaborate with leadership and product team to develop growth plans for agencies.
• Prepare department business plans, staffing projections, and budgets.
