Job summary

GEICO seeks a field leader to manage and train a network of agents across a designated territory. You will drive relationships via in-person and virtual channels, advance performance, and serve as the product and policy expert while monitoring compliance and results.

You will translate national strategies into local goals, guide marketing plans, and use data to build pre-call strategies that target the best opportunities. Travel and on-site presence are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5 years sales or relevant insurance experience.
• Prior experience with owning and driving sales results.
• Prior experience working with different lines of insurance a plus (P&C, Commercial, Life & Health).

Responsibilities

• Manage agents within a designated area using in-person, virtual, phone, and email to build relationships, deliver training, and manage performance.
• Act as subject matter expert on GEICO products and competitor offerings.
• Translate national initiatives into local goals to increase engagement and growth.
• Deliver communications; assist agencies in local marketing plans and use data to prepare pre-call strategies.
• Monitor agent performance against goals and guidelines.
• Conduct training of agency staff on GEICO products and value proposition.
• Counsel agents; with leadership support, take disciplinary action up to termination.
• Prospect, interview, and approve new appointments to expand distribution.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and company policies.
• Meet attendance standards at the business location.
