Job summary

Crown Battery is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for Northern Ohio and Michigan. This home-office based role covers a defined sales territory and focuses on growth of IND customers and retention of existing accounts within the territory.

You will directly identify, qualify and open new IND customers, and make joint calls with truck dealer partners or directly with IND customers to secure new business. Strong communication, CRM usage, and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of outside sales experience in commercial or industrial products.
• Bachelor’s degree (2-year or 4-year) or technical college degree.
• Strong business-to-business support with solid verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ABRD-defined activities to support sales and operations goals.
• Identify, qualify, and open new IND customers in the territory.
• Joint call with truck dealer partners or directly with IND customers.
• Manage activities to retain existing business within the territory.
• Assist in training truck dealer sales personnel.
• Provide input on market/territory trends and meet sales goals.
• Liaise between the territory and Crown Battery’s support operations.
• Assist in long-range territory planning and forecasting.
• Follow Crown Quality System procedures and documentation.
