Job summary

Kemper is seeking a Sales Executive to serve as a brand ambassador between the company, its partnerships, and its agency force. The role focuses on growing profitable revenue within an assigned territory, building agency relationships, and identifying opportunities, with travel to the Austin/San Antonio area as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Business or Marketing) or 3+ years of sales experience.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Working knowledge of insurance operations: underwriting, claims, marketing, and product.
• Must be flexible and a highly motivated self-starter.
• Intermediate to advanced ability to manipulate, segment and interpret report data through spreadsheets.
• Ability to interpret statistical data from company reports and build action plans around the insights obtained from the data.

Responsibilities

• Be in the field engaging with agencies and partners to grow revenue.
• Identify opportunities, pursue new business, and communicate market trends to leadership.
• Travel to assigned territory and maintain relationships with agencies.
• Train agents on underwriting guidelines, procedures, programs, websites and rating tools.
• Maintain up-to-date records of field activity and agency information.
