Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. seeks a Production Print Sales Consultant to drive hardware, software, and services sales through independent dealer partners across a nationwide territory. This field-based role offers a base salary plus commissions with comprehensive benefits.

The successful candidate will train dealer teams, manage a robust sales pipeline, and provide expert consultative support to end-user customers in commercial print operations, with travel up to 75% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field required with min 5 years direct experience selling production print hardware, software, and services.
• Strong technical knowledge of digital printing, offset printing, RIPs, color workflows, color management, and production imaging technologies is required.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including frequent overnight stays weekly as needed.
• Must reside near a major metropolitan area with convenient access to a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales process for Canon’s production print technologies, software, and related services through independent dealer partners within a defined regional territory.
• Collaborate with dealer specialists to identify opportunities, demonstrate solutions, and close sales.
• Provide expert consulting to end-user customers on commercial print operations, production workflows, color management, and business development strategies.
• Deliver product demonstrations, training, and support at conferences, tradeshows, Canon regional offices, and customer sites.
• Manage a robust sales pipeline and activity tracking to support dealer channel growth.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, offering specialized advice to help customers make informed decisions.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback to internal product planning and marketing teams to drive future enhancements.
• Support internal sales and marketing initiatives, including product launches, education, and training.
