Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an Associate Territory Manager for the Southern California territory. This remote role involves about 25% travel and centers on middle market new and renewal business with select agencies or brokers.

You will own a defined renewal book and have personal underwriting authority to drive profitable results. You will lead development and execution of agency business plans, negotiate with partners, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and growth

Qualifications

• Commercial lines underwriting experience with authority
• Drive profitable growth through agency engagement
• Three years of Commercial Lines underwriting experience (required)

Responsibilities

• Underwrites new business, renewals, and endorsements within authority
• Manages agency visits and builds strong relationships to grow premiums
• Monitors market conditions and pricing to win and retain accounts
• Drives production, profitability, and service objectives across the territory
• Coordinates workflow and supports the Middle Market Business Development Team
• Communicates product changes and company objectives to agencies
