The position requires seven years of underwriting and sales experience in commercial lines, with a strong emphasis on agency management and middle-market expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Seven years of underwriting and sales experience in commercial line business preferred.
• CPCU or CIC designation preferred.
• Desireable CPCU or CIC designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Market, manage and underwrite commercial line business through direct contact with select agencies or brokers.
• Drive profit and premium to meet financial goals and objectives through developing, negotiating and executing business plans.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support and increase Nationwide presence in the territory.
• Lead delivery of customer service levels and maintain agency relationships.
• Develop and execute business plans with performance checkpoints and action items.
