Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Territory Manager for the Heart Failure team to drive therapy adoption, open new accounts, and grow revenue across implanting centers and community hospitals in a remote US territory.

The role emphasizes hunter-style sales, building high-impact relationships with physicians and HF clinics, and coordinating with Marketing and Care teams to meet and exceed quarterly plans. Travel up to 25% within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of direct healthcare sales experience; 2+ years in cardiology structural heart/heart failure preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of payor and insurance reimbursement landscape.
• Recent launch experience leading 2–3 program or therapy launches/year with sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with physicians, HF clinics, administrators, and stakeholders; deliver presentations to drive adoption; plan and execute educational events; provide day-of-procedure support and post-operative troubleshooting; meet or exceed sales targets; track territory performance.
