Job summary

Abbott Laboratories seeks a Territory Manager for Heart Failure to drive CardioMEMS therapy adoption, open new accounts, and grow revenue across implanting centers and community hospitals. You will build high-impact relationships with physicians and HF clinics, present clinical data, and support ongoing program development.

The role demands 3–5 years of healthcare sales, strong presentation skills, and the ability to travel 60–70%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, life sciences, engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of direct healthcare sales experience; 2+ years in cardiology preferred.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding quota for two consecutive years.
• Experience opening net-new accounts or expanding underdeveloped accounts.
• Strong understanding of payor and insurance reimbursement landscape.
• Willingness to travel 60–70% within territory.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, HF clinics, administrators and stakeholders.
• Deliver clinical, technical and strategic presentations to drive therapy adoption.
• Lead pricing discussions, contract negotiations and value-based conversations.
• Plan and execute educational events on hemodynamics, data, and case studies.
• Provide procedure support, post-operative troubleshooting and training.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Education and Commercial Excellence teams.
