Job summary

Tenable, Inc. is seeking a seasoned sales professional to establish and grow business within a defined territory. You will manage existing clients and prospect for new opportunities, while coordinating with inside sales and sales engineers.

You should have strong consultative selling skills, excellent communication, and the ability to travel about half the time. This role supports a national territory with the #LI-Remote tag indicating remote work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–7 years in direct sales related to this job.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the existing client base through marketing and direct sales activities.
• Identify, qualify and develop new opportunities through prospecting and networking.
• Manage and maintain your territory's sales pipeline and target key accounts and vertical markets for development.
• Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets and other objectives by the VP of Sales.
• Provide monthly and quarterly sales forecasts.
• Manage day-to-day activities of sales personnel in your region.
• Stay abreast of competitive intelligence and provide feedback to executive management.
