Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking an Account Manager to grow our custom corrugated packaging business across North Alabama, Eastern Mississippi, and South Tennessee. You will operate as a business owner within your territory, traveling 50-75% with remote work when not traveling.

You will build a robust pipeline, develop sales strategies, and partner with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer experience and project success. A bachelor’s degree and outside sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Outside sales experience in packaging, industrial, manufacturing or related B2B sales.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% and hold a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build a robust pipeline through cold calling, prospecting, and leveraging your network.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the territory.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives and delivering value-creating solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experience and successful project execution.
• Develop an understanding of customer buying processes and decision-making dynamics.
• Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth.
