Job summary

UC Office of the President is seeking a Benefits Program Analyst 4 to provide high-level planning, analysis and operational support for systemwide health and welfare benefits for faculty, staff, retirees and dependents.

This temporary role is fully remote with a requirement to reside in California, and may include oversight of health and dependent care FSA programs and COBRA continuation coverage, along with potential participation in benefits administration projects across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in employee benefits program management.
• Knowledge of Health Flexible Spending Account administration and COBRA law relative to continuation of employment benefits.
• Ability to work independently, follow through on assignments with general supervision, and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and highly-developed interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex information and to present benefits information clearly and concisely.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to problem-solve client concerns.
• Knowledge of and ability to apply principles of project management.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities are for health and dependent care FSA programs and COBRA oversight.
• Assist with management of benefits administration projects across the Health & Welfare Benefits portfolio.
