Temporary status could lead to temp-to-hire in select offices including Albany, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Omaha, or Richmond (VA). The position requires adjudicating high-technical complexity claims in CT, DC, DE, MD, and VT, recording hours, and possibly overtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in CT, DC, DE, MD, VT or equivalent.
• Active license in CT, DE, and VT is required.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate workers' compensation claims of higher technical complexity.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly and document findings.
• Report trends to senior management and underwriters.
• Set claim reserves accurately and manage case diaries.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate with insured and claimants.
