Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
• Five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in the SC and VA jurisdictions.
• SC license required at start of assignment.
• Fluent reading and writing in English.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims with broad authority.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly.
• Prepare reports for file documentation and trends.
• Negotiate settlements and manage claims in litigation.
• Record hours and submit timesheets; overtime may be required.
