Job summary

EK Health Services Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Telephonic Nurse Case Manager (RN) to join our Case Management Team. The role focuses on assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating service options to help injured workers obtain timely, cost-effective medical care and speed their return to work.

The position is remote, Monday–Friday, with a wage that varies by experience, education, and location (CA license required within 90 days). Compact RN license in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 3-5 years clinical RN experience outside of school.
• Compact RN license in good standing with no restrictions.
• State RN license in good standing with no restrictions.
• CA RN license within 90 days (reimbursed).
• Home health care or occupational health experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with medical providers, employers and injured workers.
• Perform a complete nursing evaluation to determine patient needs.
• Review medical correspondence, provider reports and treatment history.
• Evaluate claimant clinical status and research treatment options.
• Coordinate and update claims examiners and employers on file status.
• Arrange transportation and coordinate care services as needed.
• Document comprehensive notes after discussions with involved parties.
• Implement approved care plans with patient and providers.
• Monitor and adjust the plan of care as needed.
