Job summary

EK Health is hiring a Full-Time Telephonic Nurse Case Manager (RN) for the Case Management Team. You will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate service options to help injured workers receive timely, cost-effective care and return to work.

The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm local time, fully remote. Requires a Compact RN license in good standing; CA license within 90 days is required. Wage is set by experience and location.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
3-5 years RN clinical experience.
Compact RN license in good standing.
Valid state RN license in good standing.
CA RN license within 90 days (reimbursed).
Experience in Case Management preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Communicate with medical providers, employers and injured workers.
Perform a complete nursing evaluation to determine patient needs.
Review and evaluate medical correspondence, provider reports, and treatment history.
Evaluate claimant’s clinical status and research alternative treatments.
Coordinate with claims examiners and update file status.
Arrange transportation services when necessary and authorized.
Monitor the plan of care and adjust as needed.
Coordinate information between all parties involved in the case.
