Job summary

EK Health is seeking a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager (RN) for our Case Management Team. The role involves assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating service options to help injured workers receive cost-effective medical care and expeditious return to work.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm local time, with full-time remote status. CA RN license within 90 days is required and reimbursed; workers' compensation experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 3–5 years clinical RN experience.
• Compact RN license in good standing with no restrictions.
• State RN license in good standing with no restrictions.
• Will be required to obtain CA RN license within 90 days (reimbursed).

Responsibilities

• Communicate with medical providers, employers and injured workers.
• Perform a complete nursing evaluation to determine patient needs.
• Review and evaluate medical correspondence and treatment history.
• Coordinate plans of care and communicate with claims examiners and employers.
• Arrange for transportation and monitor the plan of care.
• Coordinate information between all parties involved.
