Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Telephonic Medical Case Manager, RN, to provide comprehensive telephonic case management and drive a medically appropriate return to work for injured employees.

This remote role supports PA and MA locations and involves utilization review, care coordination, and pharmacy oversight as needed. The ideal candidate has an active RN license (NY preferred; PA/MA required), a BSN, and case management certification.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN license in NY preferred; PA Compact or MA license required.
• BSN from accredited college or university or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Certification in case management, pharmacy, rehabilitation nursing or related specialty is highly preferred.
• Ability to acquire/maintain professional certifications/licenses as per state laws may be required.
• Spanish and English fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive telephonic case management to drive medically appropriate return to work.
• Perform utilization review activities prospectively, concurrently, or retrospectively per guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of case management activities in the system.
• Coordinate care and discuss job modifications with employer, injured employee, and provider as needed.
• Collaborate with adjusters to develop medical resolution strategies and return-to-work plans.
