Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Telehealth Specialist/Optometric Assistant to be the face of our patient care. You’ll assist remote eye exams, connect patients with Telemedicine physicians, and guide them through their Visionworks experience with a human and bold approach.

Responsibilities include collecting patient records, introducing patients to the OD, helping transition to sales, and supporting in-store operations such as inventory and phone coverage.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience is preferred.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Assist remote eye exam processes and liaise between patients and Telemedicine physicians.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services that meet eye care needs.
• Support store operations including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet patient needs.
