Job summary

CVS Health’s Minute Clinic is seeking a Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver holistic, evidence-based care remotely for patients 18 months and older. The role includes an overnight schedule (9:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.) and requires licensure in listed states with potential for additional licensure as needed.

You will collaborate with Providers, Physicians, pharmacists and other care team members, documenting care in EHRs and guiding patients through management and disposition planning.

Qualifications

• Licensed in AL, AR, CO, IA, ID, IN, LA, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, TN, or TX
• Minimum of two years clinically-relevant experience
• Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Initiative, problem solving, adaptability
• Ability to work independently with autonomy
• Proficiency with information management and technology
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare colleagues
• Spanish language proficiency may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidenced-based care via remote platform
• Evaluate primary, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients
• Counsel on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, contraceptive care
• Educate on health maintenance and respond to inquiries
• Document care in an EHR per policies
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues
• Work with care team to deliver high-quality care
• Work independently, prioritize and solve problems, advocate for patients
