Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Minute Clinic Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner (Provider) to deliver holistic, evidence-based care via a remote platform. This full-time overnight position requires a current NP license and NBC, with a schedule including every other Saturday and Sunday and a shift from 9:30 p.m.

to 6:00 a.m. You will work with a dedicated team, assess and manage health problems for patients aged 18 months and older, and document all care in the MinuteClinic EHR.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in AL, AR, CO, IA, ID, IN, LA, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, TN, or TX
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, electronic)
• Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities
• Proactive problem solving and adaptability
• Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision
• Proficient with information management and technology

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic, evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment and disposition planning for patients
• Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients 18 months and older
• Counsel on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention and contraception and medication management
• Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to inquiries
• Document all care in an EHR per policy
• Coordinate care with internal and external colleagues
• Collaborate with care team to deliver high-quality care
• Work independently, prioritize, take initiative and advocate for patients
