About the Role Our client, a dynamic telecommunications company, is seeking a diligent and proactive Remote Telecoms Network Operator to join their distributed operations team. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from any location within South Africa, though a connection to the operational hub serving areas like Upington, Northern Cape , is beneficial. You will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and operation of our client's telecommunications network infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to ensure the continuous availability, performance, and stability of the network, responding promptly to alerts and resolving operational issues. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network operations, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining service quality. This role demands a self-starter who can manage tasks efficiently in a remote setting and communicate effectively with team members. You will be an integral part of a virtual team ensuring seamless connectivity for customers across various regions. This is a remote-first opportunity, emphasizing flexibility and autonomy while contributing to critical network operations.
