Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality documentation for core banking products. You’ll collaborate with product managers, developers, SMEs, and leadership to ensure accurate, clear content that helps clients implement and use banking solutions.

You’ll work remotely with a team focused on delivering timely documentation across multiple product releases, aligning with project milestones and stakeholder needs.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience as a Content Technical Writer for software, product, or technical documentation.
• Knowledge of core banking systems, financial services applications, or banking operations.
• Strong written communication and the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience collaborating with software development teams, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
• Familiarity with Jira, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for core banking products, including release notes and user guides.
• Review product enhancements to identify documentation updates and ensure accuracy.
• Gather technical information from development teams and translate it into clear, user-friendly content.
• Manage multiple deliverables and meet release schedules and milestones.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to communicate progress and support product releases.
