TEKsystems is seeking a Customer Technical Support Representative for the Kwikset product line. You will handle inbound calls, assist with troubleshooting, installation questions, and product features, helping customers resolve issues and access their homes.

The role emphasizes calm, clear communication, patient service, and efficient problem solving. Experience in customer service or technical support is preferred, with basic computer skills and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Customer service, call center, technical support, or product support experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Technical mindset and willingness to learn.
• Self-motivated and comfortable learning products independently.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable assisting frustrated customers while remaining patient and professional.
• Basic computer/data-entry skills.
• Ability to type 35+ WPM.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hardware or home improvement experience is a plus.
• Spanish or French bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound customer service and technical support calls.
• Assist customers with troubleshooting, installation, product features, and general product questions.
• Walk customers through solutions step-by-step over the phone.
• Determine whether products can be repaired or may need replacement.
• Respond professionally to customers experiencing difficult or time-sensitive situations.
• Document customer interactions and relevant product information accurately in the computer system.
• Respond to customer repair and service requests according to established procedures.
• Direct customers to the appropriate resources when additional assistance is needed.
