Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer II to own technical support for financial institution implementations, ATM conversions, and production deployments.

You will be the primary client contact, driving successful ATM configurations and issue resolution in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This remote role favors candidates near Monett or Springfield, MO, but is open to those willing to work remotely with the right coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of technical support, implementation, or systems engineering experience.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Basic understanding of computer networking and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience supporting customers remotely.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
• Willingness to support scheduled implementations, live conversions, and after-hours production activities when required.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings and client discussions; communicate schedule conflicts proactively.
• Own assigned projects including ATM configurations, client communications, documentation, and deliverables.
• Serve as primary contact for financial institutions regarding ATM activities and inquiries.
• Lead conference calls for ATM implementations and requirements.
• Provide project status updates to management and stakeholders.
• Review and validate forms, technical documentation, and configuration details.
• Assist customers in developing conversion schedules and implementation plans.
• Coordinate ATM service requests during conversions with required paperwork.
• Maintain project records in various business applications.
• Complete all project checklists from kickoff through turnover.
• Configure ATM driving platforms based on client parameters.
• Perform updates to ATM configurations and resynchronization as required.
• Coordinate connectivity testing, transaction testing, and implementation activities.
• Troubleshoot ATM hardware, software, connectivity, and processing issues.
• Investigate and resolve escalated technical issues with knowledge of products and systems.
• Validate ATM functionality and successful transaction processing post-implementation.
• Provide first-time ATM settlement training and operational guidance to client personnel.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and clear technical explanations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
