Job summary

SupportYourApp is hiring a Technical Support Engineer to join a global team delivering support across web, mobile apps, and backend systems. You will troubleshoot escalated issues, read code, and work with SQL databases while maintaining clear communication with customers in a multilingual, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in L1/L2 (or L3) technical support with hands-on troubleshooting and code-reading
• Strong SQL and production-scale relational database experience
• Working knowledge of PHP and/or JavaScript/TypeScript for small fixes

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot escalated issues from T1 involving backend, databases, and integrations
• Reproduce bugs across web admin consoles, mobile apps, and APIs
• Analyze logs and metrics to identify root causes
• Query production databases (read-only) to validate data issues
• Implement small, low-risk fixes including config changes and data corrections
• Escalate complex issues with clear documentation to Engineering
• Track incidents and outages through resolution using monitoring tools
• Maintain runbooks and knowledge bases to reduce escalations
• Understand client solutions and meet KPIs
