DoorDash, Inc. is seeking a Technical Sourcer to partner with Engineering Hiring Managers and Technical Recruiters.

You will own market mapping, identify talent for senior and staff+ roles, and drive outreach for hard-to-fill technical requirements worldwide. This high-autonomy role requires fluency in technical talent markets, strong outreach skills, and a track record of partnering with leaders to scope roles and sourcing strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical sourcing/recruiting experience, ideally for senior/staff+ software engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Expert-level boolean/x-ray search skills and fluency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, GitHub, etc.).
• Proven track record consulting with hiring managers on role scoping, leveling, and sourcing strategy.
• Excellent written outreach and candidate engagement, delivering a great candidate experience.
• Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and able to own a portfolio of concurrent reqs with autonomy.
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging sourcing techniques to source faster and more effectively.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with Technical Recruiters and Engineering Hiring Managers to build and execute sourcing strategies for engineering roles across all levels.
• Own market mapping and competitive intelligence to identify where top technical talent resides and how to reach it.
• Drive outreach and initial candidate engagement for a portfolio of concurrent, hard-to-fill technical reqs.
• Consult with hiring managers on role scoping, leveling, and sourcing strategy.
• Present sourcing strategy and market insights to cross-functional recruiting and engineering partners.
• Calibrate candidate profiles with recruiters and hiring managers using funnel data (submittals, conversions, time-to-fill).
• Deliver a high-touch candidate experience from outreach through handoff to interviews.
• Contribute to sourcing process improvements, tooling, and market-intel sharing.
