Job summary

Dedicated HR Services seeks a Manager, Technical Services for a confidential client in the power industry. The role is remote from any major US city, with up to 25% travel, and reports to the CEO. A B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 15 years of relay/recorder experience are required.

You will lead a Technical Services team, set service benchmarks, support customers, and collaborate with Sales to develop and launch products. Strong leadership and problem-solving essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• 15 years of experience with numerical relays and recorders.
• Proven leadership and team development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to handle difficult conversations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Technical Services department.
• Set service benchmarks and ensure high-quality customer support.
• Develop and launch new products in collaboration with Sales and other teams.
• Prepare technical proposals, presentations and material for business development.
• Maintain strong customer relationships as a secondary technical contact with regional sales.
• Assist customers with installation, commissioning and on-site support.
• Represent the company at industry forums and contribute to manuals and guides.
• Drive continuous improvement to service processes and performance.
