Confidential client seeks a Technical Services Engineer to own the technical relationship with utilities and industrial users relying on protection relays and disturbance recorders. The role emphasizes top‑tier service, problem solving, and expert knowledge of power system protection and automation.

This remote, full‑time position in the US requires BS in Electrical Engineering, 5–10 years with protective relays/recorders, and US work eligibility with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• 5 to 10 years working with protective relays and recorders.
• Experience with EMTP, load flow and short circuit studies.
• Excellent technical training, speaking and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers apply the company's products through visits, demonstrations, training courses and phone support.
• Meet customers to identify required feature sets and feed to Marketing.
• With Technical Services group, resolve customer concerns through notes, papers, answers and online demos.
• Contribute customer service insight to Marketing plans and reviews and propose system improvements.
• Help prepare and present proposals for products, services and systems.
• Train customers and support installation, commissioning and operation, on site and remotely.
• Keep knowledge current through training and professional bodies.
