Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking a full-time Technical Service Representative for the Equipment Support Team. You will provide remote technical assistance to customers, drivers, Sales, and Engineering across North America, supporting various gas equipment and technologies.

The role requires overnight hours (four 10-hour shifts Thu–Sun) with up to 5% travel. You will document issues in SAP and related systems, and coordinate service responses while maintaining safety and customer focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Technical, mechanical, equipment maintenance, operations, or troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills across departments.
• Proactive and able to independently learn new technologies.
• Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PC-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical troubleshooting and support to customers, drivers, Sales, Engineering, and internal teams.
• Support safe, reliable, and efficient operation of customer equipment and systems.
• Evaluate incoming technical issues, determine urgency, and coordinate response.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues by phone using available resources.
• Monitor and document alarms via the Advanced Systems platform.
• Document issues in SAP and other systems.
• Coordinate service requests to ensure completion.
• Process environmental incidents and account actions.
• Communicate status and next steps to customers and teams.
• Maintain professional, client-centered service.
