Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks a full-time Technical Service Representative for the Equipment Support Team to provide remote technical assistance to customers and internal teams across North America.

The role requires overnight shifts (Thu-Sun, four 10-hour shifts), up to 5% travel, and a strong safety mindset to troubleshoot cryogenic and industrial gas equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Experience with technical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
• Effective written and verbal communication across departments.
• Ability to learn new technologies independently.
• Flexible to night shifts and travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical troubleshooting and support to customers and teams.
• Support safe, reliable operation of customer equipment.
• Assess incoming issues and coordinate appropriate response.
• Troubleshoot equipment using procedures and system data.
• Monitor alarms via Advanced Systems platform.
• Document issues in SAP and other systems.
• Coordinate service requests to completion.
• Process environmental incidents and other operational tasks.
• Communicate status and next steps to customers.
• Ensure professional, client-centered service.
