Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. is seeking a full-time Technical Service Representative for the Equipment Support Team.

You will deliver remote technical assistance to customers, delivery drivers, Sales and Engineering across North America, supporting various industrial gas equipment and technologies. The role requires overnight hours (Thu–Sun) and up to 5% travel, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Technical, mechanical, equipment maintenance, operations, or troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical troubleshooting and support to customers, drivers, Sales and Engineering.
• Support safe, reliable operation of customer equipment and systems.
• Evaluate issues, determine urgency, coordinate response.
• Troubleshoot via phone using resources and data.
• Monitor alarms and document issues in SAP and other systems.
• Coordinate service requests and follow-ups to completion.
• Process environmental incidents and other operational tasks.
• Communicate with Engineering and Sales on requests and status.
• Prioritize multiple service requests for efficient scheduling.
• Maintain professional, client-centered service and positive company image.
