Job summary

International Flavors and Fragrances is seeking a Technical Service Account Manager for the Grain Processing sector in the United States. The role involves delivering specialized technical support for enzyme and yeast applications at customer sites, collaborating with Sales, and serving as a technical expert on product lines and limitations.

You will conduct plant visits, analyze data, and provide post-sale technical troubleshooting and optimization guidance to drive business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
• 3–4 years in an industrial biotechnology environment (enzymes, food, fuel alcohol, or similar).
• 3–5 years in a Carbohydrate Processing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized technical and scientific support for enzyme and yeast applications in customer environments.
• Collaborate with sales teams during customer meetings and onsite visits.
• Serve as an internal technical expert on product lines, applications, and limitations.
• Conduct routine plant visits to perform audits, lab analysis, and optimization.
• Deliver training on product selection, application, and optimization.
