Job summary

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Technical Sales Specialist to drive sales of consumables, capital goods, and systems across the Northeast. The role emphasizes building strong customer relationships with key stakeholders and achieving regional sales targets.

The candidate should bring filtration expertise and practical experience in food and beverage processing, with travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within a business-to-business environment.
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in food science, food technology, biology, chemistry, engineering, business management, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel 60-70% of the time, primarily domestically, to conduct face-to-face customer selling activities.
• Proven experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Working knowledge of internal sales tools such as Salesforce and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a customer account plan to achieve orders and revenue projections.
• Cultivate productive long-term relationships with customers’ senior management and decision-makers.
• Expand the customer base (networking, lead follow-up and conversion). Drive sales of new products and applications.
• Build and maintain customer profiles and SWOT analyses including sales potential, operating structures, sites, contacts, and other relevant information.
• Stay ahead of competitive activity with existing customers and actively direct field sales personnel to customer accounts as needed.
• Maintain appropriate databases and manage the sales funnel in CRM.
