Job summary

Biotage is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to sell core chemistry consumables and systems in Life Science accounts. Remote work is possible from the Los Angeles/Bay Area region, with substantial travel.

The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, expanding customer relationships, and delivering hands-on demonstrations and training of Biotage products to CROs, pharmaceutical, academic and government clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience selling scientific equipment is a plus.
• Proven track record in sales and account management.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve defined revenue targets for the territory and product lines.
• Identify and develop new customer relationships and expand accounts.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations and training of Biotage products.
• Prepare quotes and negotiate pricing within authorized limits.
• Maintain CRM records with accurate activity and forecasts.
