Sandvik Coromant is seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager to cover the Pittsburgh and Erie, PA region. You will be the go-to technical sales expert, delivering cutting tools and tooling solutions while building strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates have CNC/CAD-CAM experience, a track record in technical sales, and a willingness to travel ~10%. Join a global leader shaping the future of machining and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools.
• Proven success in technical sales or customer-facing roles.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (approx. 10% overnight).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Deliver the full Coromant product and service offering.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow market share.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver total customer solutions.
• Use your technical expertise to consult on CNC machining and tooling applications.
• Maintain and optimize the sales pipeline using CRM tools to ensure accurate tracking, forecasting, and follow-up on customer engagements.
