Sandvik Coromant is seeking a Sales Engineer / Account Manager to cover the Pittsburgh, Erie, PA region. You will build relationships, deliver the full Coromant product offering, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to provide total customer solutions.

The role requires hands-on CNC machining, CAD/CAM and cutting tools experience, strong negotiation skills, and willingness to travel about 10% overnight.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM, and cutting tools
• Proven success in technical sales or customer-facing roles
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (approx. 10% overnight)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Deliver the full Coromant product and service offering
• Identify new business opportunities and grow market share
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver total customer solutions
• Use your technical expertise to consult on CNC machining and tooling applications
• Maintain and optimize the sales pipeline using CRM tools to ensure accurate tracking, forecasting, and follow-up on customer engagements
